Lighthouse of Chipiona, Chipiona

Category: Ancient architecture Location: Chipiona The Lighthouse of Chipiona is situated at the mouth of the River and is the tallest in Spain (68 metres). It was built between 1863 and 1867 to warn ships away from a large dangerous rock. There are 344 steps to climb to reach the top. It is open to visitors and those who climb all the steps will be rewarded with magnificent views on clear days. Share
