Castle of Bellver, Palma

Category: Fortress Location: Palma Castle of Bellver is the only castle in Spain that is totally circular in design. It was built back in 1309. Initially the castle was used as a summer royal residence. Later, it was turned into a prison; you can still see the graffiti on the walls, carved by French prisoners of war. Castell de Bellver also houses the principal museum and is often used for concerts. Share
