Laida beach in part of Urdaibai Nature Reserve near Ibarrangelu. It is 812 meters-long and 166 meters wide beach (the longest in the Mundaka Estuary) of fine golden sand. The waters are shallow and the beach is ideal for children too.

Laida is well equipped - there are lifeguards, beach keepers, parking lots, beach park, showers, public toilets, changing rooms, bike parks, hotel and catering trade services.

The beach offers possibilities to practice varied activities as: canoeing, sailing, surfing (surfers all over the world come to surf in Mundaka).
