The beach Vera Playa is located on the Costa de Almeria in Andalucia, 5km north of town of Garrucha, near the small town of Vera. It is about 2.5 kms in length and 60-80 meters wide.

The nudist beach (Playa el Playazo) was estabilshed in 1989. It runs from a point slightly north of the Vera Playa Club Hotel southwards to a place called the "Camino de los Tres Olivos" (The way of the three olive trees) and is around 1km long. There is also naturist residential zone of over 2,000 privately owned apartments.
