San Vicente Castle is located on the top of a hill overlooking town of San Vicente de la Sonsierra and Ebro river. It was built after 1170 or 1172 under supervision by Ferrant Moro. The fortress has a kidney-shaped base in an irregular semicircular shape to adapt to the topography of the terrain.
