Sea museum of Galicia (Museo do Mar De Galicia) is located in Vigo. It is hosted in in the old cannery - Alcabre Windmill (1887), designed by famous architects Aldo Rossi and Cesar Portela.

The museum is dedicated to the Sea, and to tinned food and to naval. There visitors will get information about fisheries, aquaculture, conservation methods from ancient to the modern Freezing systems, technical advancements in the vessels and marine biology.

There is also an Aquarium with fishes and animals that inhabit different ecosystems - coastals , rivers and islands.
