"Fiesta Nacional de España" ("Día de la Hispanidad" till 1987) is celebrated in Spain at 12 October. This is the day when in 1492 Christopher Columb arrived to America. It was celebrated long time ago, but in 1981, with a Royal decree, it is established national holiday of Spain ("National Day").
