The Plaza Nueva (New square), despite its name, is the oldest Granada square. It is sitauted  between the modern center and the Carrera del Darro.In the past it was a place where various tournaments and games were held (as run of bulls). The square is surrounded by important buildings such as the Royal Chancellery or the House of Pisa and near by is located the street "Cale Elvira" that leads to the picturesque district of Albaycin.
