What to see in Province Granada

The Sierra Nevada (means "snowy range" in Spanish) is a mountain range in the Spanish region of Andalucia covering parts of the territories of provinces of Granada and Almería. It offers great opportunity for rock, mountain and ice climbing.

Because Ice climbing is more complicated - the non-professional adventure enthusiasts are required to learn all basic skills that are different from the usual rock or mountain climbing.
There are private companies that offers ice climbing day course with experts climbers. The course includes the explanations on the material used, safety rules, itinerary, etc, and be followed up by on-site climbing experiences. All of the equipments and clothes can be be hired there.
