The Blind museum (Museo Tiflologico) in Madrid is among the few of its kind around the world. It was open in 1992 and is run by the Spanish National Organisation for the Blind. The exhibitions there that are specially designed for blind people. This includes a number of touchable miniature world heritage sites for the visually impaired to experience what the rest of us take for granted.
There are also exhibits that showcase the history of the blind and the apparatus they have used through the ages to make their lives easier.
