The Museum of Origins(former Museum of San Isidro) is located in the center of the historical quarter of Madrid. There is presented the archaeological heritage and the material, social and spiritual traces left by the cultures that have lived in these lands, as well as the art and traditions linked to Saint Isidro -  the patron saint of Madrid. The venue accommodates a collection that covers all cultural periods from the Paleolithic until present times.
