Parish Church of Our Lady of the Assumption (Iglesia parroquial de Ntra. Sra. de la Asunción) in Arroyo de la Luz is located on the central town square (Plaza de la Constitución). It was built in the end of the XV-th century and beginning of XV-th century by the architect Miguel de Villarroel and the builder - Rodrigo Alonso.
The church is wide and spacious (15 x 25 meters) and consists of three sections separated by arches. There are three church-gates: the main (east), other (north, facing the Gospel) and the "Sun gate" (Puerta del Sol).
The church has also 2 Towers - a Bell Tower (from XVI century) and a Clock Tower (from XV century).
The Parish Church of Our Lady of the Assumption is declared Historical and Cultural Monument.
