Convento de la Asunción de Calatrava in Almagro is an austere convent, part of which has been converted into a hotel. It was built in XVI century (1519-1562). The convent boasts and an elegant two-storey cloisters flanked by doors and windows adorned with Plateresque motifs, and further embellished by a fine Renaissance staircase.
