What to see in Municipality Alcantarilla

House of the Holy Office ("Casa Cayitas o de la Inquisición" or "Casa del Santo Oficio") in Alcantarilla was built in the 18th century, and was hosted for many years the Tribunal Comarcal de La Inquisición (local Inquisition tribunal).

At its façade is made a coat of arms - a Cross flanked by a sword and a laurel. In 1982 the building was declared National historic monument and it was restored by local and regional authorities.

At present, the monument houses Alcantarilla`s Municipal Library.
