Archaeological Museum of Villena

The Archaeology Museum of Villena is housed in a Renaissance building dating back to XVII-th century (used also as town-hall). The main accent in the exhibition there is the Tresoro de Villena - a gold collection from the Bronze Age. The treasury was found near Villena in the 1960s and it consists of decorated gold bracelets, forks and bowls dating back to 3000 BC.
