Basilica of Saint Mary (Basilica de Santa Maria) in Elche is located at town square "Placa de les Flors" near Palacio of Altamira. It is a Baroque church which construction was started in XVII century and was totally completed in XVIII century (1783).
The church has a splendid portal by Nicolas de Bussi and a tower with magnificent view to the town and the palm groves.
