The Puente Romano bridge in Merida is a Roman bridge over the Guadiana River. It is the longest surviving bridge from ancient times. It was built around 25 B.C.  Close to the bridge is situated the Alcazaba of Mérida. Bridge Puente Romano has length of 790 m (including approaches).
