The Cave of Pasiega is situated near Puente Viesgo, in the middle of the river valley Pas, around the cave of Hornos de la Pena and the Castillo Mountain. It is a cavity more then 400 meters long.
La Pasiega Cave was discovered by H.Obermaier and P. Wernet in 1911. It is one of the most important monuments of Paleolithic art in Cantabria and is included in the Unesco schedule of Human Heritage.
