The Museum of Navarre in city of Pamplona was founded in 1956. It is housed in the old Our Lady of Mercy Hospital located on the edge of the old part of Pamplona next to the city walls. There are exhibited artefact`s from Navarre`s history - from prehistory to present times. The collections were started by the Commission for Historical and Artistic Monuments of Navarre, constituted in 1860.
