What to see in Municipality Zugarramurdi

The museum of Wicthes (Museo de las Brujas) is located in the old hospital in village of Zugarramurdi. In the Middle Ages about thirty women from the village were tried or punished in a ruthless way by The Inquisition. Many of the visitors come to Zugarramurdi attracted by the stories and legends that arose around the inquisition in XVII century.
