The time of celebration of "Aste Nagustia Semana Grande" (the "Great week" / "Aste Nagusia") is one of the best periods for visiting Donostia-San Sebastia and Basque Country region. It is similar to Feria de Sevilla but a little less traditional.

Durring the festivals there are large number of concerts (rock, pop, classical, jazz, etc), firework competitions, "strong man" competition, giant puppets procession, etc.
