The Panteon de Galegos Ilustres, in english Pantheon of Distinguished Galicians, is in the left lateral chapel of the church of the monastery of Santo Domingo de Bonaval, which welcomes as well the Museum of Galician People, in the city of Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, Spain.
It was set up by people`s decision in order to welcome the mortal remains of several galician important figures of great relevance, as writers such Rosalia de Castro, Alfredo Branas, Ramon Cabanillas, or the intellectual and cartographer Domingo Fontan, the sculpture Francisco Asorey, etc.
