Cala Mondragó Nature Reserve is situated  on the South East coast of island of Majorca, several kilometers east of Santanyi and  South of Cala D`Or. There are  two larger bays with golden sand beaches, surrounded by an unspoilt protected nature reserve of low scrub- and pine-covered hills, sand dunes, wetlands and small rocky coves. The vegetation of the area is noted for its diversity and the fauna is especially interesting in terms of water birds.
