What to see in Municipality Benaojan

The Cave Serrania de Ronda is located near Benaojan at an altitude of 670 m, on the south side of cancho de Las Mesas, between the Sierra del Palo and Sierra de Juan Diego. 

The cave was discovered in 1905 by José Lobato Bullón and explored and studied by Willoughby Verner, Henri Breuil and Hugo Obermaier.

There are many Paleolithic and Neolithic paintings and representations of deer, horses, fishes, goats, bulls, seals, bisons, indeterminate figures, abstract signs, etc.
