The Statue to Pinzon is located at the main square in village of Palos de la Frontera . Martin Alonso Pinzon is the shipowner and captain of the Pinta - one of the Columbus ships from his first voyage in 1942. The statue was originally made for the 1929 Ibero-american exposition in Sevilla.
