The Castle of Sax (Castillo de Sax) was built on a limestone ridge, at altitude of 500 meters. It overlooks the village and the river Vinalopo. Its construction started in X Century but later there were several reconstruction and rebuilds. Some of them (as the Levante tower from the XII Century) are survived today.
