Antonio Padron Museum is part of the Museums Island network of the Ministry of Culture and Cultural Heritage and the Cabildo de Gran Canaria. The museum was opened in 1971 and is dedicated to the work of the expressionist painter Antonio Padron (1920-1968). It is located in the former studio of the painter in his hometown, Gáldar. This is a regionalist style pavilion that is part of a larger architectural complex which also includes the garden and the family home.
The exhibition consists of woodcuts and paintings and there can be seen more than hundred of Padron`s works.
