Loro Parque is a first class zoo and parrot attraction in Puerto de la Cruz (in the northern part of the Tenerife Island). There are all the typical zoo animals such as gorillas and alligators, plus the aquarium which even has sharks. The parrot shows, penguins and dolphins are amongst the many popular park exhibits and it is open all year.
