What to see in Municipality Puntagorda

The almond plantation on La Palma has a long tradition. At end of January or begining of February people from the whole island drawn to Puntagorda to celebrate this Traditional village feast. There are lots of folk music and dancing, free wine and almonds, market stalls, dance bands and street bars.

The festivities start on the Friday evening and continue until about midnight on Sunday. The most activities are in the afternoon and evening with the highlights on Sunday afternoon.
